Our company history at a glance

Frerk Aggregatebau GmbH has been producing power generation systems for a wide range of applications since 1964 – that's over 50 years of experience and top performance for the power supply.

1964 Volker Frerk founds an electro-mechanical engineering company in Balge and manufactures Emergency Diesel Generators up to 0.64 MW
1978 Construction of a production hall with office building in Schweringen
1994 Takeover of Frerk Aggregatebau GmbH by Uwe Fiebiger, Horst Depine and Erich Hiller
1998 Founding of Frerk & Harloff GmbH
2000 Foundation of the sales office South in Viernheim, Germany
2001 Construction of a new production hall with four modern test facilities
2002 Certification according to ISO 9001:2008
2004 Construction of a further production hall with four modern test facilities
2008 Construction of a production hall: Enlargement of the production area to approx. 11,000 m²
2010 Extension of the production area - Construction of a new office building - Enlargement of the total area to 25,000 m²
2011 Commissioning of a 1,500 m² warehouse
2013 Certification according to DIN EN ISO 3834: Welding in series production, one-off production, repair and on the construction site (assembly). The certificate applies to all welding application areas
